A couple of fun photo projects

February 5, 2011

I have found a brilliant new group on Flickr called MinorUrbanDisasters which documents things in the street which are not quite right. This can be anything from a broken traffic cone to a fence which has been crashed into or even a manhole cover which has been put on the wrong way around.

I’ve decided to take part in this – it’s amazing what you miss when you don’t look – so hopefully this’ll open my eyes a little! My contributions are below:

I’ve also taken on a personal project which I’ve called Lost Property. It’s aim is to simply take photos of lost property (gloves, hats, shoes, etc) in whichever setting and position they’ve been found in. Might be interesting, might be dull, only time will tell.
